Virtual Quarries



Combining the position data recorded by the GPS equipment and the images of the bones recorded by a digital camera, the Geographical Information System (GIS) software can recostruct a three-dimensional virtual image of the original positions and orientations of the bones in the ground.

  North Main Quarry  opened 1996
  South Main Quarry  opened 2000
  New Quarry  (Teague Quarry) opened 2001
  West Quarry  (sample quarry) opened 2003
